INVESTMENT
Pricing very much depends on how many people are being photographed as well as what type of photography you are expecting. Distance is also a factor. Remember, when you hire a photographer, you're not just paying them to show up at a certain time, stay for a couple of hours, and then leave. You're also paying for the time they take to talk with you before you sign their contract, their equipment, the time and fuel it takes to drive to and from your location, their shooting time at the event or session, as well as the editing and uploading time before they send you your images.
PRICING
Portrait sessions (senior session, head shots, etc.) start at $400.
Couple's sessions (this includes a couple's maternity session) start at $450.
Family shoots start at $500. If you have more than 4 people, the price increases $20 per person.
For most events, I charge $295 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Anything more than 3 hours, and my rate increases to $310 per hour. More photographs are provided than a normal photo session.

I offer videography services as well. Pricing varies.

If the location is more than 15 miles away from my home in Woodland, WA, a mileage fee will be calculated and added to your invoice. For personal safety reasons, I always travel in my own vehicle. Travel costs to be determined during your consultation and are paid in addition to your deposit upon signing your contract.

THE LOWDOWN
Each session includes 1-2 outfit changes, location suggestions (from me if you don't have anything specific in mind), and a digital password-protected gallery online. I add anywhere between 25-30 photographs to each gallery. I tend to give out a few extras because I love all my client's galleries so much and have a hard time deleting photos because of how special and sweet they are! That being said, I try to limit myself to 30 and throw in a few that I love as well because the editing time adds up! If you want to choose more than 30, I typically charge an extra $12.50 per photo. Sessions typically take about one hour but time varies since I want to ensure I have enough photographs to provide you with a full, beautiful online gallery.
A non-refundable deposit of 35% (either cash or money order made out to Ember Trembley as I don't currently accept mobile payment) of your total cost must be paid upon signing the contract. If there are travel fees involved, they must be paid with your deposit. Your session is not booked until I have received the deposit and the contract has been filled out and sent back to me.
The remaining dollar amount needs to be paid a week prior to the shoot/event. If, for a legitimate reason, paying the remaining dollar amount is not possible a week prior, I would be willing to receive the remaining dollar amount in cash the day of the shoot/event upon my arrival before I start photographing.
DIGITAL DOWNLOADS & PRINTS
I provide the printing rights with your edited digital downloads in a photo gallery within 4-6 weeks of the shoot/event. A link to your personal gallery will be sent to you once all of the images are online. All you'll need to do is create your own password! I typically do not provide prints. However, for an additional cost, I would be more than willing to order a photo book, prints, canvases, etc.

If you decide to order your own prints, I send along a few printer recommendations I have to get your images printed in the best quality possible.
